Refund Policy
1. Right to Refund

This Policy is part of the Terms of Service.
1.1. The User has the right to cancel the Platform's services and request a refund within 14 calendar days from the date of payment in accordance with Article 686 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Article 32 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Consumer Rights Protection".
1.2. After 14 calendar days from the date of payment, no refund is provided, except in cases of material breach by the Provider of the terms of service provision.
2. Request Procedure
2.1. A refund request shall be submitted by the User in writing to support@tyfoon.kz, accompanied by a document confirming the payment (receipt / extract from a banking application).
2.2. The Provider has the right to request additional information to identify the payment and confirm the identity of the recipient.
2.3. The period for considering the request and executing the transfer is up to 10 working days from the date of receipt of a properly executed application.
3. Calculation of the Refund Amount
3.1. The refund amount is calculated as the total cost of the paid but unused training period minus the actual expenses incurred by the Provider at the time of receiving the request.
3.2. Actual expenses incurred by the Provider include, but are not limited to:
- costs of API requests to AI services (OpenAI, Google, etc.) used to verify the User's code and assignments;
- costs of transcription and storage of recordings in the Fireflies.ai service made in the interests of the User;
- commissions of payment systems and banks for making the transfer.
3.3. The cost of actually conducted individual mentorship consultations is non-refundable and is withheld from the refund amount in full.
3.4. All expenses related to currency conversion upon refunding to foreign accounts (if applicable) shall be borne by the User.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
4.1. No refund is provided if the User accessed all course materials and used the AI verification features for more than 50% of the course assignments. In this case, the service is considered to be fully rendered.
4.2. No refund is provided after 14 calendar days from the date of payment, except for the cases mentioned in clause 1.2.
5. Refund Mechanism
5.1. The refund is carried out by the Provider directly to the User via a bank transfer to the details from which the payment was made.
